D01  Cross Nepal-Tibet border, arrive at Zhangmu, check in hotel.

D02  Full day drive through typical Tibetan landscape crossing over Lalungla Pass (5050m), to the north side of Himalayan viewing breathtaking panorama of Himalayan mountain Ranges including Mt.Everest (8848m), Mt.Xixiapungma (8012m), o/n at Check in Qomolangma Hotel (4300m) in Shega (new Tinrgri).

D03  Shegar to Rongbuk Monastery. This is a whole day drive, enjoy view of Mt.Everst, Makalu, Lotse and Chooyo, and then keep going to Rongbuk.

D04  Drive to Shigatse, on the way visit Sakya Monastery.

D05  In the morning, visit Tashilunpo Monastery of Panchen Lama, drive 90km to Gyantse, s/s Phalkor Monastery & Kumbum Stupa. Check in Gyantse Hotel.

D06  Overland scenic drive 280km via Karola Pass (5010m), visit Yamdrok Lake & Kambala Pass (4794m), to Lhasa.

D07-08  Two full day tour to Potala Palace. Jolkhang Temple&Bhakhor, Tibetan Medicine Center, Drepung Monastery.

D09  Good-bye to holy city to onward destination.
