D01 Arrive in Lhasa. Afternoon is free to acclimatize.
D02-03 City tour in Lhasa city.
D04 Lhasa to Gyantse via Yumdrod Lake.
D05 Visit Pacho Monastery and Kumbum Stupa, then drive to Shigatse, en rout visit Shulu Monastery.
D06 Shigatse to Lhatse via Sakya Monastery (160km), check in local hotel.
D07 Lhatse to saga (293km). It takes 7-8 hours. check in guesthouse.
D08 Saga to Payang (255km). Camp.
D09 Payang to Manasarovar Lake (20km). Manasarovar Lake is one of the highest fresh water lakes in the word and considered by both Buddhist and Hindus as the king of the word¡¯s ¡°Sacred Lakes¡±.
D10 Leave early for Tarchen, because your guide should have some time to hire yaks and yak-drivers.
D11 Tarchen to Dri-ra-puk (22km). Camp.
D12 Dri-ra-puk to Zutrul Puk (22km). Camp.
D13 Zutrul Puk to Tarchen. (10km). It takes 3-4 hours. Camp.
D14 Tarchen to Tasada (330km).
D15 visit Guge Kingdom and Toling.
D16 Tasad to Baga. (250 km).
D17 Baga to Payang.
D18 Payang to Saga.
D19 Saga to Tingri (310km).
D20 Leave early to Rongbuk. In the afternoon, drive to Shegar (new Tingri). Check in Qomolangma Hotel (4300m).
D21 Shegar to Shigatse.
D22 In the morning, visit Tashilunpo Monastery of Panchen Lama, After lunch, drive back to Lhasa along Tsangpo River (280km).
P.S.
There are a few choice of the routes of the excurtion to Ngari. The above one is an ordinary one, you can also enter the western Tibet from Zhangmu, the Sino-Nepal border town, through Paiku Tso Lake and the beautiful Mt.Shisha Pangma to Saga, or the same route is back to Zhangmu to leave Tibet.
