D16  Tasad to Gar (Shiquanhe).

D17  Gar to Doma (256km, 5000m). Pass by Bangong Lake (604 square km., 150km long and 2-5km wide); it is a piracy for birds. Ancient rock paintings can be seen while you drive along. Check in guesthouse.

D18  Doma to Dahongliutan (318km, 4200m). Today you pass through Jieshan Daban, the bouder between Tibet and Xingjiang, guesthouse.

D19  Dahongliutan to Mazar (253km). On the day, Mt.K2 could be visible if the weather is good.

D20  Mazar to Yechen (240km). Yecheng is a little Muslin town. Good food, fruit, beautiful people, you feel that you come back to civilization again.

  The anther route is same as the above, but enter from Yechen of Xingjiang, leave Tibet from Lasha.

10 DAYS THE OLD TEA-HORSE ROAD (YUNNAN-TIBET)

D01  Zhongdian (Shangrila) to Dechin (184km). Visit Dongzhulin Monastery, Jinsha River valley. Check in Dechin.

D02  Dechin to Yanjing (136km). Survey the famous Mt. Meili, a Christian church and old saltpans. Check in the guesthouse.

D03  Yanjing to Zogong (158km). Pass Dongdala with an altitude of 5080m, check in the guesthouse.

D04  Zogong to Paksho (200km). You see Mt.Yela and Nujiang River, check in guesthouse.

D05  Paksho to Pome via to Rawok Lake (220km). See Rowok Lake, Laigu Gaigu and a virgin forest. Check in guesthouse.

D06  Pome to Bayi (216km), en road there are many cypresses, and you can also see the highest mountain in this area, Mt.Nangjia Bawa. Check in the hotel.

D07  Bayi to Lhasa, en route to Basum Tso Lake (510km). Basum Tso Lake is a very pretty small lake in a virgin forest; the fish there are delicious.

D8- Continue the other tour in Tibet.
