| Located in the middle-towards-south part of Tibet on the northern bank of the middle reaches of Brahmaputra, Nimu County is 3,275 square kilometers around and has a population of 28,000. In Tibetan Nimu means ears of wheat? Under the administration of Lhasa City, the county government is situated at Tarong Town.
