News comes that the Jiuzhaigou Airport, a brand-new airport linking Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province and Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong National Parks, will stop flight services since this May 8 for runways renovation. The project is estimated to last for over 40 days but no exact number was given. Visitor who will visit Jiuzhaigou and the nearby Huanglong scenery area during this period have to take long distance bus from Chengdu, only one bus service daily and tickets can NOT be booked in advance. The bus ride is about 12 hours.

You are advised to avoid this period as bus trip can be exhausted, time-consuming.
