Can you guarantee that the flights inside China will use western aircraft, not Russian aircraft?
Answer: Yes. It is no problem to guarantee that we will use western aircraft between major cities. After you settle the final date, we can even offer you the flight number and the type of air plane. However, domestic or Russian aircraft will be used on minor routes, usually flying to small cities.

What about airport tax in Hong Kong?
Answer: Currently all the taxes are included in the airfare. That is, RMB216 fuel surcharge from Hong Kong to mainland China, or RMB104 fuel surcharge and RMB90 departure tax from mainland cities to Hong Kong.

What is the airport tax in China?
Answer: For domestic flight inside China, RMB50 airport construction fee is levied, and RMB90 departure tax for international flights. While you do not need to pay it at the airport since they are all included in the airfare from September 1st, 2004 on.

What is train travel like in China?
Answer: Train travel is a fun, interesting and a comfortable way of moving around China. In China, the accommodation on the train is divided into four categories, namely, soft-sleeper, soft-seat, hard-sleeper and hard-seat. Each compartment has two washrooms at both ends of it. Meals and drinks can be purchased in the train's restaurant carriage.
Although traveling by train appears to be harder than that by airplane, it does offer you more chances to make approaches to all kinds of Chinese people.

In your soft sleeping carriage, are there compartments private for two?
Answer: No, there is not.
In China, the soft-sleeper carriages are divided into separate compartments. Each compartment has totally four berths, two lower and two upper.

Are there bathroom and/or toilet facilities on the train?
Answer: Inside China, it is very hard to find a bathroom on the train. But, Western style washrooms and toilets can be found at both ends of each carriage.
